I would imagine in almost all cases the jab lift is better as it gives you forward momentum? Bar maybe you are facing away from your own goal and want to turn back or in a ruck with no clear path to run into.
Anything I’m missing…
Nope, this is going back a few years but I was at a workshop with Paudie Butler and he said that one year they set out to find out the key skills differences between lower and higher league teams. After analysing all the games, the key stat that stood was that in the lower leagues players primarily used the roll lift, whereas in the higher leagues used mainly jab lift.
There is a girl playing rugby with my son who will be an international if she can be minded and find a team for her. She is the equal of the best of them still at u10 level and she is brilliant at gaa and soccer as well
Making a Cork panel or something. I watched Ireland women’s 7s team get beat 58-7 last night - I’m sure the excuse for the 15s performances was that all their best players were with the 7s team.
I’d imagine making a Cork ladies football panel is fairly equivalent to playing womens rugby for Ireland? Do more women play ladies football in Cork or rugby in Ireland?
