50 years ago today, 18 January 1975, the Pontypool Front Row (Viet Gwent) came together for the first time in an international for Wales against France in Paris. Graham Price on debut with a famous prop forward try in the last minute to wrap up a 7-25 Wales win.

Rugby was great in the 1970’s.

Today is the 53rd anniversary of Bloody Sunday massacre in Derry.

Lee Marvin was born on this day

Lee was so drunk once that he forgot where his Hollywood Hills home was, so he bought one of those star maps from a kid to find his own address, then showed up at the house only to have the new owner tell him “Lee, you sold me this house four years ago.”
