Osama Bin Laden dead

I’m philosophical about the situation.

He must be ploughing through a bevy of virgins as I type.

Should Bush Blair and Obama etc. be shot in the head and thrown in the sea? These fellas have commited as many crimes against humanity as Saddam and Osama.

The Pakistani intelligence service should have been alerted and called around to the Bin Laden household and taken him into custody. He should then have been arraigned and an application for his extradition should have been lodged with the Pakistani authorities. I’d be pretty disgusted if the SAS dropped into a farmyard in Louth and executed Slab Murphy and secretly buried his body. It’s unacceptable behaviour from the supposed leaders of the free world.

Gassing kurds and sending planes into buildings - not sure if the crimes are the same. Bush and Blair falsified evidence to go to war alright aswell as numerous others stunts. But the Allies committed gross atrocities during many wars. To the victors go the spoils unfortunately. Still hardly excuses Saddam and Osama though. The world is a better place without those two. Until the next ally puppet goes nuts of course and then the cycle continues.

SS that’s how the fucking eejits who live in fear of the ECHR might do it but in the rest of the real world this is how business is done.

Pakistan are claiming they collaborated with the US in this matter so not sure if it’s an issue. Doubt Pakistan will care too much that their borders weren’t respected in any case. I’d liken this to the Israeli secret service murdering those that organized the Munich killings.

Surprised you care that much about a man who used the conflict in Norn Iron to solely enrich his personal wealth through criminal means.

That’s true, but I don’t think this operation should be dressed up as a good and noble thing. Even if this operation is considered as an act of war the Geneva Convention lays down guidelines for the treatment of prisoners. If it’s not an act of war, it’s an assasination and I’d wonder is this sort of act even legal under international law?

I think you are missing my point, it’s not that I care about the subject, I am merely concerned at how governments behave.

People in power will always abuse that power., it is the fallacy with democracy unfortunately. Dont let it get you down over Osama Bin Laden being assasinated anyway.

Yes but you appear to go along with it. I don’t.

I’d venture to suggest that apart from a few human rights lawyers no one cares

Story has changed already.

This is even more foolish than first imagined.

HUSH UP!!!

I care too O’Dowd and a few others do too.

What is their latest twist on the story, Kev?

I hope it turns out they didn’t do the whole burial ritual shit and just used his corpse as a dart board then fed him to a bunch of pigs.

  • Bin Laden wasn’t armed
  • He did not use his wife as a shield (the yanks just shot her in the foot cause she ā€œattackedā€ them)
  • He was murdered in front of his 12 year old daughter

Was the daughter taken out too?

I’m sure you do. But in the scheme of things you don’t really matter.
