Armstrong has a great work ethic, closed down very well all night long, nice touch and a bit of pace as well.
Guidetti has looked sharp tonight as well, didn’t get his goal but I thought his movement and work rate were very good.
Exciting times to be a Celt.
Ronny Deila walks on water.

The Ronny Roar.
We could have been more careful/clinical in the final third and scored more goals but that was a typically shit bobbly Scottish pitch in fairness.
The new bhoys looked very good. They’re both the type of player associated with Deila’s favoured style of football - dynamic, energetic, fast, decent technically. That infusion of pace in attacking areas is welcome as Commons and Stokes aren’t the quickest. We should be dangerous on the break with these additions and it’s good for transitions to be André Villas-Boas about it.
The whole team is now in tune to the high octane pressing game Deila demands when we don’t have the ball. Johansen sets the tone from the front and he has superb energy levels.
We also look much more secure at the back since Denayer has returned to fitness and resumed his partnership with Van Dijk. Bitton continues to impress with his anticipation and positioning in front of the back four and his use of the ball is good too. 8 clean sheets in a row for Celtic now.
Felt a bit sorry for Guidetti but he worked hard and did very well for Armstrong’s goal.
Looking forward to seeing how the side develops as more of Deila’s signings are added and his style of football gets ingrained with more games and training.
A disgraceful pitch but that was a very good performance and an extremely comfortable win. Very impressed with the new bhoys, Armstrong played a few nice passes - the one to Guidetti for his goal was excellent. GMS looked lively all night and good with the ball at his feet too. Huge upgrades on McGregor who looked inept when he came on. Pitch didn’t help him either but he really doesn’t look like he has the intelligence or touch to contribute in this team.
