His erstwhile assistant, Chris Hutchings, has been appointed as manager. He also took over at Bradford after Jewell resigned there and was then sacked about 5 minutes later. Get on him to be the first manager sacked next season. Jewell says he needs time out from football. He’ll be appointed to some other job in a few weeks time and Wigan will go on about how cheated they feel and how they should compensated.
