That’s the point, he’s not. I think he could play the game while maintaining a connection to the people and he can inspire people.

Would not surprise me if he gave it a go in 15-20 years.

I think I would say no. I also wouldn’t advertise pay day loans which you see in UK - wonga etc with APR of 1000%. That is my moral code insofar as I think it is wrong to use a nice guy celebrity to sell to poor people products that are more expensive but costs are not apparent unless you read small print.

He has to live with what he does and I suspect he is facing a life of deteriorating physical well being based on interviews and his reported back problems.

He has to look after himself but i don’t have to respect him

No, but that wasn’t the question.

Still doesn’t mean he is not a good person or that he wouldn’t make a good politician. Maybe he did or didn’t or should know what he is promoting, but at the end of the day people need to make decisions themselves too.
