He must know my eldest child. The lad,that for years went beserk every time he got a few jellies, be it at a kids party or his grandparents house, or school. He wasn’t bold or anything just wired to the moon after a feed of sugar.
It was a running joke amongst his teachers, his friends and family.
But Kev now says it’s all wrong. I’ll have to write to them all individually and tell them they’re wrong and a semi qualifier carpenter from cork whom doesn’t have any actual kids himself has dispelled all of their knowledge and actual experience of kids.

I’d say in the near future, if not already, o’ll be spending more time with kids than anyone on here unless they are an actual teacher.
You have decided to believe an urban myth. We all have these beliefs from wherever we oick them up. However a good coach, teacher, parent or businessman will adjust as new evidence appears. Its called a growth mindset. I don’t think you are far away. You’re not one of these @Fagan_ODowd types who refuses to change or accept new ways. I think you do take things in but it just needs a few pieces of re-inforcement as opposed to one or two.
This particular one though is not that new. It was dispelled a long time ago. But i can easily understand why people still make the mistake.
