Kenny Dalgish, Iām only remembering again how he claimed after hillsborough heād lost interest in football ā¦then along comes jack walker and his millions and the rest as they say is history
I am going to bite on this.
He also said he wished he had asked Liverpool to take three months off as he would have gone back the following September
Attending 90 plus funerals in two weeks takes a toll on any man.
Very convenient, do you have a public quote to back up this claim ?
Retired Garda John Wilson.
Like Bill Shankly, Kenny Dalglish gave up the Liverpool job and soon regretted it. Plagued by stress-related blotches, and still haunted by the Hillsborough disaster, King Kenny resigned in 1991 and returned from a family holiday in Orlando a few weeks later dismayed that Graeme Souness had taken over.
āOf course, I had no right to hope Liverpool would come back to me. Besides, at that time I thought Graeme was the right man for the job,ā Dalglish wrote in his memoirs. āBut if Liverpool had waited until the summer, and then asked me, I would have gone back. Like a shot. Liverpool will always be in my familyās heart.ā

Where does you reference mentioned anything about the money grabber wanting 3 months off ? Divide his 3 years salary by 96 and tell me what you get
Edit: Itās because he was clearly looing for the attention that heās got from his speech. Even doing an interview in the last few days saying that heās shocked at the reaction he got for it.
Will this fella ever stop moaning.
We get it. You were right. You have been vindicated. Just leave it. Heās turning into a right media whore, seems to be on Matt Cooper every second day.
Actually this whole issue is giving me a pain in the hole. Sergeant Maurice McCabe, retired Garda John Wilson, Shatter, the Department of Justice, Brian Purcell, the Guerin report, the opposition, two bob journalists, the sacked former Garda Commissioner, the new acting Garda commissioner, Miriam OāCallaghan - fuck off the lot of you with this story.

Agree totally, he comes across as a right whiny cunt. The final straw for him in my book was when I read on the paper the other day he would like to meet Alan Shatter, who had already tendered his resignation by this stage. Now Iād have zero time for Shatter but I wouldnāt blame him if he told Wilson to get fuckedā¦Why would Shatter want to talk with someone who played a significant part in him losing his Ministerial post.
No one likes a squealer. Whistle blower = squealer.

If anybody finds themselves walking around the Grafton Street area today with a few eggs they donāt need, these cunts are supposed to be busking.
Thankfully Iām going to see a different one word, eight letter band beginning with K this evening.
anyone that contributes positively to the craft beer thread
Journalists and ex Mayo players blowing on about Gavin Duffy. Youād swear he was Dan Carter or Brian O Driscoll changing codes.
He has an amazing back story - itās a fascinating narrative.
Itās interesting to see if it works out and if he can make a couple of percent improvement to the team that have been a very close second best the last two years, and thereās not much real GAA news at the moment.
Canāt beat a good narrative to kick off the āChampoā.
