Heard him on Radio 1 when I was coming back up from O Moore Park on Sunday. One of the reasons you should buy his book is because he gives insights into footballers such as Darragh O Sé. I’d say that would be some insight.
Incidentally, Niall Moyna is still as big a cunt as always.
Why don’t I just buy Darragh O’Se’s book then? It is a sad state of affairs when you ‘write’ a book to give an insight on other players.
A Mayo fan said to me recently that had Mortimer been there against Donegal in 2012 and Dublin 2013, then they would have won an All Ireland. I pointed out to him that Mortimer, while being a reasonable free taker and ok inside forward, was ordinary in the overall scheme of things.
