Pint and grub?

Itā€™s all very well for you ODowd as one of the elders of the forum - surely you used to partake in such a peasantry diet when you were a young lad fresh out of Waterford?

Being from Irelands foremost port city we always had an educated and cosmopolitan palate.

The coastal native would usually have a more refined palate than the inbred land locked savage.

That has certainly been my experience

@TreatyStones The next time you are in Dublin, go into the Celt Bar on Talbot street and check out the signed photo of Curly Watts. It is top, top quality:pint:

Someone bump the Clare Roasters thread for Turenne

Any where for a pint and grub in Barcelona?

Are you in Barcelona, pal?

I am, mateā€¦ Half steamed and have an unmerciful hunger on me.

Surprised you didnā€™t mention it earlier

Ah you know me, I wouldnā€™t be grabbing the lime light like that and starting threads to let people know I am in a big cityā€¦ Only a peasant would be at that lark.

Like @Mac

Lahinch isnā€™t a big city

Yes, Mac ā€¦ And The Runtā€¦ Heā€™d be the type of fella to get all giddy on the train up to the big smoke and let it be known to others where he was headed ā€¦ What a cunt.

Iā€™ll slash your face you cunt

Someone is on the train home all deflated
