Niblock and McConville had a fantastic podder with Johnny Glynn that went a completely different direction than I ever expected. Great honesty on the miscarriage topic and copped me on a bit myself.
Powerful stuff.
Only listened to the first few minutes and Johnny’s voice was in fucking ribbons. Sounded like he had been gargling turps. Niblock had already made apologies for the industrial language to come.
Never really in doubt but Johnny comes across like a top bloke. Hope it all works out ok for him. Tis a rough road I’d say.
As a lad I know once said to me, if I knew at 18 how hard it is for me to get a woman pregnant I wouldn’t have wasted a cent on Johnnie’s!!!
The JBM interview was fantastic as well. Must give the Glynn one a listen.
A friend of mine spent a summer in the company of Glynn as says you couldnt meet a nicer chap…absolutely zero ego…a pure down to earth country lad
Jaysis that was a tough listen. He comes across as a top man. You’d wish nothing but the best for him and his wife.
Just listened to it this morning…would make you very grateful to have a child
Stolen sister is very good, first three episodes are up now
It’s RTE doc on one
Russia knows our weaknesses. But do you?
A major five-part series from Sky News and Tortoise which imagines how a Russian attack on the UK could play out – and invites real-life former ministers, military chiefs and other experts to figure out how to defend the country.
One of Joe Rogans recent ones was with documentary maker Ken Burns.
Should be a cracker
Cyril Farrell is worth the price alone for Wolly.
Tony Keady was “giggacting around”
John Kiely could twiddle the team
Etc etc
Best pod out there. Doesn’t hold back on anything. Woolie let’s fly.
Wooly is loved by the true hurling people. It really makes the insecure ones even more insecure.
His “put three men in and let the ball in” sthick is a bit boring at this stage
He’ll be proven right. In fact he already has been
The lad who played 2 inside and had the rest of the team puck the ball to Johnny Crowley to tire him out?
Wooly?
That was a great listen. Cyril is a diamond. He is wasted on other episodes sharing with Carroll.
Carroll’s modus operandi is to hate Tipp and hate Munster hurling.
His love of KK after playing with them in Kieran’s or his substitute appearance on the railway cup is unmatched.
