If you’re behaving very weirdly there’s a chance it might. If its PERCEIVED by a large number of people especially in the area you work in that you are bullying a minority then there’s a fair chance you will too. It’s not all that complicated or some illuminati conspiracy
Its what happens when you have too much free time and in this case intersects with having too much money. Most people could not give a fuck about the trans issue bar if it was a member of their own immediate family.
He took it to extremes alright but there’s plenty of people in history who were isolated despite being on the right side the issue - and had the courage of conviction to go to bizarre lengths to see it through before they were vindicated.

I’d say JK Rowling probably preferred her life before though, all of that hassle. People are just going to do what they are going to do anyway.

His ego was hurt when he did that episode of the IT crowd with the ‘tranvestite’, and people took the piss out of him for it. The whole thing was a crusade to prove he was still cool which is something you just need to let go of at a certain point.

That’s how it all started. He got slated after an episode of the IT Crowd that had a transvestite character. He was enraged people were calling him out of touch and he became a womens’ rights champion shortly after. He was always an obnoxious bollox on twitter but he lost his marble after that.

Miguel was probably one of those Father Ted weirdos. That’s what got that Linehan fella the way he is; the unconditional adoration from having made that, well almost unconditional. Miguel is also a total weirdo.
