The ball touched his foot and then hit the post mate. Are you denying that?
All my claims have been evidence based
When’s the last time you watched Argentina play?

It’s a bizarre claim to make, Messi hit the post, that is very obvious. The goal was open from 10 yards out and you’re shitting on about the Peru player hitting the post when his hole body is facing away from goal. Mad stuff but you seem entrenched to defending Messi from deserved criticisms of his continued failure in an Argentine shirt.
None of your claims are evidence based, they have failed the evidence test. Some of the chances you’ve claimed existed must have got sucked into the Bermuda Triangle as well as failing to criticise Messi for things you criticise his teammate for.
I’ve changed my mind, renaming this thread as Road to Nowhere was clearly prophetic
No, I’m saying you’ve fabricated incidents.
Nope.
I’ve said you’ve fabricated incidents.
Keep digging though.
Is Sidney commenting on incidents that I’ve fabricated then? That would be very strange
When’s the last time you watched Argentina play?
i watched the argies v peru match in the bombonera.
messi put on a masterclass at times
strange how a fella could have such strong opinion on a match he didn’t see
George Best was arguably the best player that ever laced up a pair of boots, cc @Rocko, and yet never won a World Cup. The current Argentinian team are truly one of the worst to represent the country, they are an embarrassment.
No he wasnt
Georgie never even played in a World Cup finals.
@Nembo_Kid is frantically working out how to spin this in his favour and call you a holocaust denier.
It’s like the All-Ireland semi final all over again.
Consistency is a real buzz word for @Nembo_Kid, I’d expect him to post something along the lines of what he posted 24 hours ago when Eire won the qualifier to qualify for the next round of qualifiers.
Argentina had to go to altitude in Ecuador in a win or bust game. The pressure was on and once again Lionel Messi delivered when he had to.
The key phrase there being once again.
Messi regularly bottles it for Argentina in the crunch, hence why last night was an anomaly.
You should figure out the difference between an anomaly and a regularity.
Exactly, which bolsters my point, no matter how good a player is he can’t guarantee success for a team. Liam Brady and Ryan Giggs never played in a World Cup finals either. The debate about Messi is nonsensical, one simply has to look at Argentina’s record in the current qualifying campaign with him in the side and with him out. Of the eight games he missed, Argentina only won one, and in the 10 games he played, Argentina won 6. In terms of goal scoring, of the 19 goals Argentina scored in 18 games, Messi scored 7 of them in 10 games.
HGH boy. Hardly surprising.
