Ah he was pal, he put in more sacrifices then most.
Not everyone is born a wristy hurler…he was ridiculed throughout his intercounty career but he was a stalwart for a finish…and a sound fella as well.

I know he was I agree with all that but plenty of people don’t unfortunately,his goal against Kilkenny in 2012 was one of the best finishes by any Limerick player.

Typical Breen goal, know a lot of lads say he had no hurling…but he always caused half backs bother even without a great paw for the size of him.
He was a great man to break ball off Paudie Maher as an example…never striked in 2010 either to his credit.
