The Ravonettes…Christmas Song
Siouixe and the Banshees do a rendition of the traditional French carol, Il Est Né le Divin Enfant
Can’t access youtube in work and I’m not going through the whole rigmarole (there’s a word for that words that aren’t used anough thread) of turning to wireless, so let me just say - John Lennon, Merry Christmas, War is Over. The only Christmas song I can abide apart from the Pogues. Oh and the Slade one that Fagan mentioned. OK, I like walking in the air as well. And anything from Wille Wonka, which was on every Christmas Eve when I was growing up, so I associate that film with Christmas. Aprt from that, I fucking hate Christmas songs.
Kid, have you been to have your eyes checked lately? Read the thread title. Between this and noit understanding a post from Fagan last week, I have serious concerns for you eyesight.

Same as Fairytale, you know it is Christmas when you hear the first few bars.

Don’t think I had heard that in it’s entirety before. Great song.
Shane MacGowan’s second best Christmas song isn’t bad at all - Christmas Lullaby
I hope you grow up angry
Just like your dear old dad
I hope you grow up brave and strong
Not like me - all weak and sad
You said “Daddy, daddy,
You’re stinking of booze”
I kissed him and said, "Kid,
I was born to lose.
This is the greatest Christmas song ever.

Top call Juhy…
I spent a couple of christmases in college working as a merchandiser for guinness in supermarkets. Christmas music nonstop. I can’t abide most of them now but this is superb.
