No - I think a lot of the radical Sanders vote went to Trump, ie the nihilistic wing which was quite considerable.
Had it been Sanders v a GOP stalwart a lot of establishment Dem voters would have republican.
Most Americans are too religious and cultured against āsocialismā, the terms Sanders was selling Americans are not buying.
The campaign would have been a better one, however, as Sanders is actually concerned about areas like the rust belt.
