The only honourable team in this competition is Roscrea. None of the bullshit about them. They deserve their place in the final to avenge their defeat in 2011.

Newbridge have 3 Leinster and Irish schoolboys who went there at one point playing for other schools but still got to the semi finals, fair play to them.
Actually I think Roscrea have some kind of arrangement with the Connacht Branch and give places to talented kids from out that way who play for clubs. I don’t mind that as much because Roscrea is absolutely tiny and it helps Connacht a lot.

Great to see that the two traditional blue bloods of the schools game in Ulster, Royal Belfast Academical Institution and Methodist College, Belfast, will go head to head in the final for the 14th time on Monday. Always a good sign for the health of the game in the province to see a traditional final.
The usual move to the Monday with St. Patrick’s Day falling on a Sunday this year will also please traditionalists.
