Great stuff from the boys today. Totally outplayed a pretty poor Marys team admitably. Great though when the best player for CBC isn’t even available for selection.

Eoghan McKeever is one of the biggest props i’ve ever seen at this level, if he can avoid injury he has a good future ahead of him. Best part was the kicking of the 4th year Scrum half. From the Mahon dynasty of players I believe, I think CBC might finally have a kicker. :o

Still don’t think they’ll get past the next round but a nice win for a lot of the lads.

Who is training the team this year, Tim? Who else was in the Mahon dynasty? I think there was a Mahon in my year but my memory isn’t what it used to be, these days/

Nigel Osbourne took over recently. Kevin West was HC but has moved abroad. Neither are teachers.

I believe the Junior cup coach is excellent. Ronan O’Donovan, came up from the sister school CBC Cork. Was on that O’Driscoll underage world cup winning team.

The Mahon bros were 5 brothers during the glory years for cbc in the 70s/80s. All of them were Leinster schoolboys I think and played at a higher level. Marty Mahon is helping out with the Juniors, huge Wanderers head.
