The English Premiership Prediction League is being (re)launched this weekend. The first competition will run for the whole of February with the person who is top of the predictions league at the end of that period receiving a free thefreekick.com t-shirt of their choice. ;D
To join in the prediction league you must have registered an account with thefreekick.com
To access the league click the link on the left hand panel (near forum) and hit the “Join Competition” button on the right hand side of the main Prediction League screen. Then enter your tips for this week in the “tips panel” section.
There are ten games being played this weekend in the EPL. There is one point for each correct outcome predicted (win, draw, loss) and a ridiculously pointless and scabby bonus of 3 points for anyone who gets all the predictions correct in any one week.
The closing date for entries to the February competition is Saturday morning at 12:30 due to the early kickoff in the Merseyside Derby.
The competition is free to enter obviously and as there is such a cracking prize nobody should have any hesitation about taking part. Any lurkers out there who haven’t registered yet will have to do so to take part in the competition but don’t feel under any compulsion to post on here if you don’t want to.
There are a couple of known bugs with the league at the moment that I cannot resolve yet. (e.g. if you try and enter the “Tips Panel” section of the league before you have registered for the competition you might see an error) but there is nothing that will affect the outcome of the league.
Any queries post them on this thread.
