Who are you comparing him to?
Walcott, Bendtner, Senderos, Djourou. Players who have shown they arenāt really up to it but still there years later.
Walcott has it, the others didnāt last long around the first team really in my memory.
Wenger loves these pacy, athletic types who chip in with about seven goals a season and occasionally look a world beater.
Whether they can actually play football is a moot point.
Walcott has had about one decent season in 10 years. Heās out of the picture at international level completely now.
Even these ātopā arsenal players like ozil and Sanchez have far too many off days. Iād have Sanchez as one of the biggest cunts in the league. He loves playing for homself and making sure the crowd know heās trying 100 percent with ridiculous hand jestures etc. he constantly outs teammates when the chips are down too.
I like Walcott but thereās a degree of truth in that, heās done really well in patches over a number of seasons though, probably the kind of player any manager would fancy working with, the other lads you mentioned donāt really fulfill the criteria you outlined Iād say
Walcott is a lad with a great future behind him.
Heāll retire a multi millionaire but wonāt be remembered within a year of finishing up.
I remember seeing Barca at the Camp Nou a couple of times and the fans were cutting the shit out of Sanchez. They knew.
Iād still fancy Arsenal to nick a goal here.
Heās a cunt but a talented cunt.
Iād take him in the morning. Looks totally disillusioned now and itching to get away.
Bendtner was at Arsenal 6 seasons; never managed to get into double digit league goals. Heād have been laughed at any of the other top teams that Arsenal were competing with. Within two seasons after leaving arsenal he was playing in a league most people hadnāt heard off.
I think heās vastly overrated.
Heās a top top top player, it must be frustrating as fuck playing with the useless cunts around him, Ćzil would drive you mental alright
To be fair Sanchez has been Arsenal for the past few years. Heās a level above every other Arsenal player and you can understand his frustration.
Wengerās biggest problem is his pride, he canāt take getting it wrong and digs his heels in even more when itās evident. He wonāt spend when itās evident he needs to, he wonāt move players on when itās evident he needs to. His stubbornness hurts the club.
Six full seasons, thatās a big surprise to me.
Wiltshire is another with a great future behind him
You can hardly blame him for that, weāll never see what he could have been, heās doing amazingly well to be where he is right now
Song
Almunia
Conquelin
Gibbs
Cygan
So many examples.
Thereās Salah with the second.
Salah is something else
