Heās always been like this though. When he was England coach under Hodgson heād always skirt around explicitly criticising English players. Heād focus on the collective or call out some foreign cunt for not tracking a run earlier in a move or something, even when it ended up with the likes of Joe Hart practically throwing a ball into his own net. Heād use neutral language rather than being direct, or heād change the conversation focus to something else.

Manchester United have obviously got the mother of all rebuilding jobs on their hands.
But so do Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Arsenal and Chelsea. Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham and Barcelona arenāt going to stop recruiting.
This summer is possibly the worst summer Manchester United could have picked to miss out on the Champions League.
In terms of signings, theyāre genuinely going to be left with dross or Gareth Bale or Philippe Coutinho for Ā£150m or Harry Kane for Ā£200m, and they could lose all of De Gea, Pogba and Martial.
They wonāt make top six next seaason.
Solskjaer is so unconvincing in his interviews, he wouldnāt inspire you.
