The midfield was picked to keep it tight first half. You’d expect him to take the shackles off now and use Shaqiri or maybe Keïta.
I think Klopp went for legs in midfield and it hasnt worked — the same three ran City into the ground last year and turned over the ball countless times but City are moving it much quicker and the Liverpool midfielders cant get near them… they arent doing much with it either when they do get it. I’d be tempted to bring on Fabinho and leave him sit or stick to Fernadinho who is bossing it.
Red card is 7/2
Was Chamberlain not playing last year?
Correct
Aguero was poor enough up until that, but what a fucking finish!
Fernandinho has been excellent. Liverpool started better but City have dominated possession in the last 20 or so and always have a real outlet in Sane. But they would like David Silva & Sterling to get involved more even if they are targeting the left.
Kompany does look vulnerable on the turn, Liverpool always a threat on the break.
Fascinating game though.
More goals in this game
I was thinking that. His direct running is a big difference to Wijnaldum. Wijnaldum is a strange player
He’s really missed this season. He plugged some of the gap left by the departure of Coutinho. I thought Keita would pick up some of that slack but it hasn’t happened yet
Bit harsh I’d release a few others before him.
@caulifloweredneanderthal 01/09/18 Italian football is shit
@caulifloweredneanderthal 03/01/19 We need the Inter Milan flop on as soon as possible
They are both black … my point still stands — he’s trying to outrun them and it hasnt worked… Winj has a serious engine and puts in a massive shift and breaks up play — it’s the other two are the problem.
Can you show me those posts please mate, before I make contact with my legal team?
Kompany is some fucking leader
The coward bottled it there with Kompany.
Don’t hold your breath chief. Better chance of an Italian getting a medal for bravery
He can be a leader and deserving of a red card - they arent exclusive of each other, bro
I don’t buy in to the Ox fan club. Roma were all over Liverpool until he went off. Liverpool lack a lad to keep it ticking over.
