There’s far too much inane conversation going on in the commentary box. Why do Sky insist on foisting two co-commentators on the viewers when it’s Man U v Liverpool? One co-commentator suffices for just about every other fixture.

Lot of lads struggling with this… You can’t lung in on a player recklessly… He flicks the ball but follows through dangerously on the player. Making contact with the ball while breaking a players leg is no defence.

Could never understand the narrative that Fulham would survive at their expense and that Scott Parker was an innovative young coach. Newcastle also have a goalscorer in Callum Wilson which is invaluable in the bottom half. The style of football isn’t great but Steve Bruce has kept Newcastle afloat comfortably thus far.
