Perhaps if the Irish spend a bit more effort on their economy, instead of bringing an anit-blasphemy law to kill free speech, then they wouldn’t be in this mess,

If the failure of Ireland and these other historically weak nations means the demise of the EU, I would be delighted.
After the failure, repatriate all the foreigners, deny automatic citizenship to their children and pray to God that there are enough true Britons left to return these once proud islands to their former greatness.

Was it for This is right!!!
Matt Cooper just said that there was an Article in the Irish Times in '06 chastising the German government on how they were running their economy and that they should have been running it more like the Irish one!!
Tony Killeen making a cunt of himself on the last word now. All the decisions they made were the right decisions at the time
One of the most worrying things about this thread is that on this evidence, Sid is a hopeless optimist.
My weakness is that I always try and talk up the economy. I lfocus on the positives a bit too much probably.
So the IMF is here, who will be responsible for the budget now? Will it pass?? Will the government last that long? Will the greens pull the plug?? Will FF splinter and vote the budget down
It will pass because there’ll be no other choice now the boys are here. General election in the new year.
Will we get to the new year without an election WTB ?? I think FF is about to split for the budget, the greens are only drawing their money at this stage has anyone heard anything from any of them
Yeah, one of them had an argument with a few people on twitter and has now blocked a load of them from reading his comments.
are you for real
I am. He’s in a feud with a load of other internetters.

Gogarty blocked a load of users, including poor aul 20Major
By any chance would we now qualify for Bono’s aul “Drop the Debt” initiative? Is it worth putting out the bono signal?
Channel 4 and BBC both leading with this story. Dick Roche about to appear on Channel 4.
ffs
ooh jeasus what did he say now
He is on at half seven. I am sure Dick will have something clever, smug and patronising to say anyway.
Speaking of which, did you hear Nigel Farage on the last word? What a cunt.
Nope. Heard most of the show today but didn’t catch him. When was he on? Will check it up online. Was hoping Cooper would take a harder line with that fooker from DAA trying to defend terminal building and its cost.
