Was he ever any good? Fergie fucked him off as he believed an aging Scholes was better option - To be fair, he’s not bad and the fee was nothing to do with him but he has given very little return this year all the same. I’ve said ll along, he’s not a CM and someone that’s going to grab a game by the scruff if needed… defensively he’s abysmal … He’s a forward much suited to a free role, I think this is where he can do most damage.
He’s a good player with the potential to be very good but he’s in awful form at the moment.
