Prestigious Europa League thread 2016/2017

sorry lads
self imposed ban as a punishment

i was talking with cruyff yesterday when the rain came down in Tallaght and he knew as well,…a swirling wind from the Dublin mountains, this isnt Natanya Stadium on a hot september night
Dundalk well worth their win, Arveledze is fucking seething , christ the man is a nutter

good god, the maccabi back 4, as flagged above
Medunjanin gave an exhibition i thought in fairness, excellent ball player

Dean Shields my MOTM, kildufff is some sort of hero
an incredible night,

three

Was John Delaney there tonight?

In fairness, you’re some cunt. You get us all to pile in on Maccabi and then as soon as there is a hint of bad weather you start to back off.

The return leg is December 8th, what’s it like over there that time of year?

Chris Shields & Dean Shiels are not the same person.

One is an absolute animal, who can run for hours on end and spends most of his time absolutely wiping out opposition players in the tackle (usually fairly).

The other is more of a tippy-tappy ball player who they recently signed, formerly of Hibs & Rangers. A better footballer, but not a better player.

i lost a fair wedge myself, i placed the bet on sunday after i watched them win 5-0, i also did >2.5 based on their last 12 games in Europe and their current league form
you can call me a cunt if you want but the weather and the location of Tallaght stadiu,m with a wind blowing down it was a huge factor in tonight’s result, they werent up for it at all either for whatever reason, same logic as to how they conceded 4 in 13 minutes after playing zenit off the park for 77… Their form is a personification of the man in charge, he did the same mental shit at trabzonspor from what i can see

how much money did you loose on it?

ah yeah i mean the former obviously, the other lad got only a min or 2

ah here

50c

i find myself nodding along subconsciously in agreement with you there

Totally different type of player . Horgan a phenomenal worker , has end product and is strong as a ox. McGeady far silkier but a bit of a luxury .

Shields is a big improvement on O Donnell in the midfield

Have to disagree there, O’Donnell is a far superior player. Probably work best in conjunction, but Dundalk dominate possession in most games they play and O’Donnell uses the ball a lot better than Shields.

I’m a big fan of Shields but O’Donnell really dominates games.

Not at this level from what I’ve seen

Kilduff in the Europa League team of the week with Totti!

Deserved win for Inter against Southampton.

Great goal from Candreva.

Inter were really shite in the first half but the better team in the second half until the sending half.

Smashing save by Handanovic from Austin late on.
