Quiet today

Are people out sampling the pre-match atmosphere around Harmonstown? I think the Beachcomber are organising a fleet of buses to bring people to the stadium.

As a player I have to confess to feeling incredibly nervous. Last week was all about the adrenalin carrying us through. This week it’s nearly worse because we know how special the atmosphere will be.

I’m hoping for an Irish rugby at Croke Park effect - a little overawed by the occasion for the first match and faded away at the end before producing a sensational performance second time around.

Very pensive here on the southside.

I was in town for an hour and a bit after lunch but I kept myself to myself. Could see the pre-match crowd milling about there though.

Listening to Into My Arms by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds now as I want the romance and beauty of our football to match our aggression and workrate.
