I saw that link the other day and wondered if he was like, say, Gary Hooper was when we signed him. Young, potential, playing in Championship or League One. But Wyke is 29. It’s a big no from me too, despite his 30+ goals for Sunderland last year.
About 20 of them are with his head. He’s a carthorse.

I wonder if Rogic will stay now. He was drifting towards an exit for the last year or two, and nearly joined some Middle Eastern club last summer.

Rogic has all the ability. He is a bit one paced but was disgracefully treated under Lennon.
The best midfield three we had under Rodgers was the time when Rogic, McGregor and Christie were purring - was kind of stumbled upon during an injury crisis but was excellent. Think Rogic then picked up an injury and was at the Asian Cup which saw Brown coming back into the side.
I really hope it kickstarts his career as he’s class. A midfield with him and Turnbull is going to be difficult to facilitate though.
