My meals are all about health rather than fine dining/presentation mate… Usually just stacked with veg… even the pasties last night were made from tortilla wraps glossed with egg and folded over the mince… I eat to extend my life, not likes.
He has been the mod for a while now bud.
But are most of your contributions to the thread not from restaurants or chickens with cans up their arses?

They were a healthy take on it. Tortilla wraps aren’t to be eaten too often but better than pastry… Simply cooked the mince, onion and gravy… Put egg around the edges of a wrap, scooped in mince, folded wraps and pressed closed with fork and rubbed egg on the top side and into oven for 20-25 mins… You hardly thought I’d actually poison myself with pastry? I’m not a peasant.

All the talk of bolonese on here put me in mind of making a bolonese. Following a recipe I made up as I went along I softened three white and two red onions, 5 grated carrots, about a bulb of garlic, two packets of mushrooms browned, two packets of mince browned, bacon browned, three tins of tomatoes and some tomato paste, few bay leaves some oregano and basil, a few olives, and two big glasses of red wine. Let it simmer away covered for an hour while I went to the gym and then uncovered it while I cooked some green pea pasta and then topped with parmesan and black pepper. That is a big aluminium pot from lidl.
