I’d like to agree with you stevie G as I do like to see Irish people thrive on the world stage but he’s got 3.5 times more second places than wins on tour. He’s fallen away on the back 9 (in some cases the final 2 or 3 holes) in every major he’s been in contention for and, like rocko’s post above, he constantly and incredibly annoyingly always, absolutely always, seeks to find excuses in advance of competing. It’s usually to do with focus - this week it was tiredness. I really find him an annoying person.
