Incorrect… the Armada boys get the blame for doing an amount of damage on the west coast but the truth is the first peoples to settle on the island were dark - the Celts were invaders who brought some of the fair hair with them but the Vikings brought more, including the red gene that leaves most Irish men, no matter how dark, with a spot of ginger in their beard.
The Irish… the real Irish… are dark haired and have a dark complexion, both within and without…

You have it exactly backwards. Celts have the highest incidence of red hair (by far). It’s a recessive gene so the higher the incidence of Celts breeding with each other, the higher the % of redheads. The Vikings have very few redheads (less than 1%) and it’s thought what they have came from Celt slaves.
