Abortion Referendum Thread

She tells some amount of lies, a real nasty individual.

This is a really terrible format - it panders to the No sideā€™s modus operandi which is to shriek like demented fools as much as possible and drown out those they donā€™t agree with - those who have argued based on facts.

Itā€™s embarrassing for the No side.

Friend of the forum Rosanna is spot on.

Una knows the score.

The No supporters want Ireland to be a real life version of The Handmaidā€™s Tale.

Let me hear no more shrieking about 12 year old rape victims from self serving dsngerous bastards like aodhan riordan. Cunts like him and the rest of the pro abort mob could have legislated for them but they refused to, they wanted more. While he is clearly happy to use them for personal gain the reality is there are not enough votes in 12 year old rape victims and the failure to repeal the 8th amendment in favour of those in bad need of it will be down to that horrible self serving prick and others just like him.

Powerful stuff, have you changed sides now?

Iā€™ll have to watch this on the RTEĢ player. Without giving away too much about myself, I move in some of the same circles as Maria Steen. Sheā€™s Opus Dei, her whole family are I think. I know that she had no music or dancing at her wedding because itā€™s sinful.

That honestly wouldnā€™t surprise me. These conservative religious zealots are eerily similar in mindset to ISIS.

Although I could imagine her having had Faith Of Our Fathers and Ave Maria played as the big dancefloor fillers.

Not even from what I heard. Basically just like a normal wedding except at the part where the fun is supposed to start nothing happens. I know a few people who were at it. Her husband apparently was completely normal and vaguely liberal in college, changed over as soon as he met her.

Sheā€™s a fine doll. I bet shes a freak in the bedroom behind it all.

Iā€™ve a tiny bit more to say on the topic of the Steens, nothing all that incredible, but I donā€™t want to say it because Opus Dei frighten me a little. Iā€™ll pm tomorrow if anyone cares that much.

Pm away.

John Monaghan was the No sideā€™s obstetrician in the Claire Byrne debate. He works at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.

This was on the news last week. It does not inspire confidence in his professonalism.

And neither does this.

A six-year-old Co Roscommon boy who has had cerebral palsy since birth has been awarded a ā‚¬4m settlement by the High Court.

Through his mother, Mary, Seamus Dwyer brought a case for damages against Portiuncula hospital in Ballinasloe in Co Galway.

The consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in charge of Seamusā€™s delivery, Dr John Monaghan, had admitted liability.

And neither does this.

Iā€™ll take one.

The problem with Una and her cohort is they will convince more people to vote no than vote yes. The radical femanists bodily integrity argument is an own goal, you can only embrace it completely which means itā€™s self defeating. According to its logic, as long as the fetus is in the womb a woman has the choice to terminate, for any reason. Not many agree with that.

Una and the likes of her should stay quiet to ensure the correct yes outcome.

Mise freisinā€¦

Go on so.

Gossip always welcomed on hereā€¦

No suprise, more loutish verbal abuse from you
