Ireland politics (Part 1)

@artfoley - how come this unconstitutional nonsense of super juniors has never been challenged in the High Court?

well the parties wont challenge it because theyre happy with the status quo and would like to have it in reserve. as for the normal punter, there may be issues estabnlishing locus to challenge it I’d imagine

Maire will sail into the sunset with her mallet in her hand and that will the end of that.
Next you’ll see of her will be AI final Sunday holding her nephew at shoulder height.

Varadkar exposed as a spinless cunt and he’s only in the job a few day. The Whelan mess is that clown Kenny’s parting shot, but not having the balls to tell that dope MMOC that she’s off to the back benches is criminal. This is only her second term in the Dàil so it’s not as if he dealing with anyone of significance in the party and she did fuck all in her last appointment to indicate she’s worthy of a ministerial position.

Would love to know why Kenny was so loyal to Whelan considering she was a labour appointment and after all her fuck ups with the Fennelly report.

He’s in trouble now because if she insists on getting a pay rise that she is entitled to as a super he has to pass legislation.

Varadker wont last with his attitude.

Mistake from the blueshirts not to give Covenay the job.

Leo Varadkar = Theresa May
Theresa May = Brian Cowen

Shook hands with Leo this morning at the Castleknock 5k. Firm handshake but the softest skin you ever felt. There’s a metaphor there somewhere.

Were you not afraid you’d catch “the gay”?

Varadkar quoting Winston Churchill on twitter and mentioning Love Actually at Downing Street. Gimp.

Hopefully for Leo he quoted something Churchill actually said.

David Davis also “quoted” Churchill today.

"The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees possibility in every difficulty.”

But there’s no record of Churchill ever saying what Davis attributed to him.

It should have been Simon

When are our glorious leaders due to break up for the summer?
Martin is digging his heels in over this whole Maura Whelan thing.
He’s not far from pulling the plug and Leo is very irritated. Enda must be absolutely laughing his hole off.

It would be hilarious if he wasn’t leader of the country.

Gives it the hardman routine at home and turns into a gushing sycophant when he meets his idols in the Conservative party. Hopefully he won’t last long.
