Ireland politics (Part 1)

No, it is not. The fact you cannot rebut it is… Well, it is the fact you cannot rebut it.

Bluff rhetoric is puff rhetoric.

All senses of both adjectives.

I could go on in this vein a long time. But it would be an indulgence.

“Sob story after sob story”

God, it is so hard to be so unpleasant.

Daddy issues, one must infer.

You prick.

Stop putting people in boxes for your own narcissism. Left this, socialist that… Looney, communist, whacko.

Most people here are centre enough. They will lean left on certain issues and right on others.

You’re only highlighting your own hatred.

Gas considering you went off on one about my views on Brexit just to deflect from my points.

Bizarre, sure more than half of Dublin must be within 20mins drive of ballsbridge off peak. Why even mention it.

You spent ten minutes editing it to convert it to English.

Silence is not the answer to bias, the truth is.

Should the US have a border?
If yes, should the US enforce that border?

The unbiased truth on immigration flows from the answers to those questions.

Yes remember the chap who died beside the DĂĄil?

Or the guy who died on Sussex Street?

Subject to days of media comment on what a terrible society we are with kids being homeless?

One was a junkie who had refused money from his family and houses previously. A sad story no doubt but what we can do for these people is a separate thing, it has nothing to do with the housing crisis in Ireland.

The latter was a sex offender kicked out of Australia. No bother with the media jumping on it though.

It is regular in the Irish media. “Woman living in a car with her kids”. The truth? She got a house in one place and decided she didn’t want to live there anymore.

Sensationalism. That’s an editorial decision to go with that sub headline btw, not just Kitty’s advocacy being allowed in masked as journalism. Apparently the IT itself isn’t pushing a liberal line though.

I think guys like Malarkey have spent so long in the system that they’re just ignorant to the bias though.

Most people in all western democracies are centrist and lean liberal on some issues and conservative on others, myself included. To deny there are ideological extremists is head in the sand stuff, nutters like yourself, @Sidney and the ultimate champagne socialist @Matty_Hislop is derisory.

Also, fuck up you pretend Republican halfwit. You haven’t a notion what Republicanism even means.

What in the name of all the gods has comment on the overall cast of an Irish newspaper got to do in any significant sense with the American border with South America? You might be preoccupied/obsessed with this border issue. So what? A certain kind of right winger, because she lives in a fairytale chiaroscuro world, wants everything to be part of everything else. I prefer to see the world, for the most part, as a constant process of arbitration between grey areas. If nothing else, this perspective is yoga for the mind.

I say it again: a sense of proportion is the key to all reasoned discussion. Here, David Hume, perhaps the wisest philosopher and a conservative, is yer man.

My English?

God bless you. I truly must be a genius altogether if editing is my only weakness.

“The truth? She got a house in one place”

All coming out now.

In a suppurating ooze.

You blab on for hours about leftists and far right …about democrats and republicans… It doesn’t matter a fuck which one is in power, as the last 60 years has shown us the US really has only one policy.

You’re a gowl talking rope.

Much as I am enjoying this banter, I need to light the coals and prepare to celebrate the foundation of the greatest democracy in human history.
Keep her lit lads, the flames of freedom and enlightenment are worth preserving.

By the way, I did not say silence is/should be the answer to bias. I said: if we are all biased, as certain right wingers like to contend, silience is the only decent idiom.

I know I am unusually intelligent and well informed but this stuff involves elementary levels of understanding and comprehension.

What’s that policy?

The fact you have to ask shows you up for the God hel’pus you are.

Go back to your great democracy there.

So no answer. You’re a consummate bluffer.

I’m not here to spoon feed you boy. Open a book or do an interweb search on US history since WW2.

That works both ways in fairness.
