Retiring GAA Stars tribute thread - May cause brain/neck damage

He was an extremely good player on his day alright, but those days are long passed. Probably stealing a living so to speak for well over 5 seasons.

Good luck to him.

Moynihan was a prince of a footballer. The only fella who ever roasted him was yours truly in a Corn Ui Mhuiri match.
Great player.

Link?

My memory of his early days was having Alan Brogan in his pocket.

Oisin McConville took him for 1-9 in the 2000 All-Ireland semi-final replay, mate.

I heard that mentioned a few times before and to the best of my knowledge he wasn’t on Seamus when he scored a lot of those scores,
Anyway my point was obviously tongue in cheek although I did pick a goal and a few points off him once upon a time.

RIP Marc.

A decent but spectacularly overrated player, not a patch on his brothers.

19 year old Ronan Clarke destroyed him in an All Ireland final too.

I was at that one

That’s my view of him too.

Moynihan was an average full back . Kerry wasted him there for years .

Showing a fundamental lack of knowledge here.

Until Kerry adopted a more sensible approach in the time between new rules and that change all Kerry backs were exposed.

Who did you play with? My school played them in Corn Ui Mhuri Final.

And Marc O’Se didn’t handle it very well. He was vastly overrated, his reputation goes on him playing on a very good Kerry team and his family name. He was a decent player but a long, long way off the level of his two brothers who were true greats of their era.

Southside. There was only two teams in the A division as far as I remember.

I think he has more MOTM than Tomas in championship, i heard sometime.

But as far as i remember you only started watching football around 3 years ago. So forgive me if i take everything ypu say on the subject with a large pinch of salt.
