Retiring GAA Stars tribute thread - May cause brain/neck damage

That’s a very weird thing to be concerned about.

Didn’t say I was concerned. Just thought for the day that’s in it etc…

He got one of the sweetest points I ever saw in Cusack park in 2019. A lovely throwback natural hurler unlike the gym bunnies being mass produced these days.

He gave some exhibition on a beaten team in a Munster Under 21 Final in Ennis in 2012.

Bubbles with a belly was always a terrifying prospect to be up against. Slim Bubbles was always a sign Tipp got too serious and could be got at.

An extraordinarily gifted hurler. Tilt switch wrists.

Cross lateralized as well, same as Richie Power Jr.

‘Bubbles’ sounds like a bit of a cock

You wouldn’t find one of the Dublin 6 in a rowers peacocking about their amateur hobby the way this fella appears to have.

A fine player over the years was Trollier

Trollier would either shoot the lights out or run out over every ball and get taken off at half time. There was rarely middle ground with him. A sound man and great craic.

One of the great gaa nicknames too…

Anyone able to name this Kerry footballer? I’m fairly sure he has been given a prominent position in a Croke Park mural thanks to a Sportsfile admin error.

It’s not a young David Moran?

Sportsfile have 2 photos from the Kerry 2014 squad with David Morans name under it, this is the other One? This one here is the actual David Moran isn’t it?
