Headbanger logic. Any enforcement agency will have salaries and associated costs. You would do away with the CCPC altogether rather than have any deterrent?

I called out the fact that the judge only hit Quills for €1000 costs for the CCPC, I maintain that the true cost of the CCPC taking that case would have been 80k and that is the amount the judge should have hit Quills for.

The State Solicitor came up with the costs figure, do you think she was lying or plucking figures out of the air like yourself?
The judge imposed a conviction and a fine of €500 on the first count and awarded costs, which State solicitor Diane Reidy said should be €1,000 including expenses of the investigation
Prosecutions aren’t taken on a profit/loss basis in any case. The max fine for the offence was €4k, and an early plea was entered, so I really don’t know what you expect here
