Lions seem to be playing without a kicker here for some reason. Missed an extra point there and then the kickoff went to the 30 yard line only. Think itâs the punter or someone hitting these.
Great finish in the Jets game. Stafford went off injured without about 5 minutes left and Jets scored a TD (Sanchez sneak) then Lions had the ball again and were 3rd down after the 2 minute warning with no timeouts left for the Jets. Lions went for a playaction and pass which was incomplete and stopped the clock. Gave the Jets the ball back from the punt and crucially that was enough time for Sanchez to run a lot of short passes and get them in FG range. Well helped by a stupid late hit out of bounds on LT that sealed the yardage. 20-20 so overtime.
Jets win with a FG after another big completion to Holmes.
Jets got out of jail big time.
