Road to Wrestlemania XXVI

Do you really expect that to happen at Mania Shan?

Was that an iron man match as well ballooba?

Twas an hour long I think, as many pins(or maybe submissions… not sure) as you could get within the hour. A cracker of a match, I’ll have to watch it again sometime.

Lesnar was class in WWE. It’s a travesty he left. And of course i’ve made my views on Angle known before. Legend. He’d a great match with Matt Morgan at TNA Bound for Glory recently.

Angle and Lesnar had one on Smackdown in 2003. In terms of Cena vs Orton in an Ironman they better have some decent stuff planned as Cena cant just wrestle for an hour.

I would think so. They want Ted DiBiase to be a breakout star and if they slowly build this up with Orton then it could happen. Its what they did with Batista and Hunter. They need a fresh main event. Keep the title on Orton till Mania as well.

Used to love when Angle wrestled Chris Benoit, top matches each time

“I am the best in the world at what i do”. - Chris Jericho.

Vickie to go in the lovely ladies thread.

Didn’t think twas possible for Vicky Guererro to get more puck looking but I was wrong…

You just bet me to it Shan…

Signing out.

Enjoy work Dunph, I’m outa here

Damm them teasing a Jericho vs Hbk match. I wonder will Bob “Spark Plug” Holly will be brought in next week due to the hosts being some hick nascar drivers.

Jr Has Bells Palsy Again

It was an interesting plane ride from OKC to Columbia, South Carolina Monday night. On my flight from OKC to Atlanta I had my 3rd Bells palsy attack.

I was able to reach WWE doctors who were in Jacksonville for Raw and they were able to call in the medicines I needed to get started on to slow down the paralysis. Now we just wait and see how the meds work and Mother Nature takes her course.

My plans are to tape SD tonite working with the King and perhaps even Michael Cole so we can make sure we can do the job that the product and the talents deserve.

It’s a big week for WWE as we all prepare for Bragging Rights this Sunday in Pittsburgh. I hope to be able to contribute and time will tell as the week progresses but I intend to remain optimistic and to fight thru this issue.

This isn’t my first challenge I’ve had to deal with and there are lots of folks that have much worse issues than do I that they contend with on a daily basis. My intention is to fight thru this and continue doing what I love.

The wrestling business and those that work in it have become such a huge part of my life and the way I see it this is just another bump in the road as I am far from “tapping out.”

With all the fans that have always supported me thru 35 years, I know I won’t be going thru this alone. Thanks.

Update after that

This is an update on my previous blog. Not the news I wanted to share.

It has been decided that I should not risk further issues by working tonight and I am in the process of arranging a flight back to OKC so I can see a neurologist on Wednesday.

Life is about facing the challenges we encounter so I am going to do all I can to get better and back at the announce desk asap. I wish I had more answers but I simply don’t at this time.

I want to be a part of Bragging Rights but only time will tell if that will be physically possible. My passion and love for the game is in tact but I have to do what’s best for my long term health.

WWE has been tremendously supportive of my situatiion of which I am very grateful.

Never count me out of the game as this isn’t the first mountain that I have had to climb. Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole will handle SD from Columbia. My thanks to every one for understanding this matter. Better days are on the horizon.

Poor Jr. Hope he will be back soon. They did an angle about it last time he had it. Vince is a cunt like that.

WWE Bragging Rights on Tonight

I’m sure everyone is aware that WWE Bragging Rights is on live tonight. Here is the final card with my predictions in bold:

  • RAW vs. Smackdown Divas Match: TEAM RAW – Melina, Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim vs. TEAM SMACKDOWN – Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix and Natalya

  • Non-Title IC Champ vs. US Champ Match: The Miz vs. John Morrison

  • World Title Match: The Undertaker vs. CM Punk vs. Batista vs. Rey Mysterio

  • John Cena vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Title in a 60-Minute Iron Man Match

  • No DQs or Countouts; If Cena loses, he must leave RAW; If Orton loses, he gets no more rematches against Cena.
  • Seven vs. Seven Match: TEAM RAW – DX (Co-Captains), The Big Show, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston and Mark Henry vs. TEAM SMACKDOWN Chris Jericho (Captain), Kane, Matt Hardy, Finlay, R-Truth, David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd

Its on at midnight. Cena vs Orton for an hour.

Midnight?

Is it on PPV or have Sky Sports got it?

I can’t remember a PPV such as this one with so few matches…

It is on Sky Sports 1 and HD1.

Teddy is turning on Orton tonight, he has a movie coming out next month.

It’s no DQ, he comes down to help. Makes a mistake, Orton gives out and Teddy clocks him one, probably with a chair.

I might actually stay up and watch…

Shan are you signing in?

I don’t know if he will actually turn on Orton, it’s all a bit too obvious.
