I uysed to support the Pool MBB, and I still take a passing interest in what they do, but I find it very hard to feel any connection with the EPL now, its soulless. I’m a great bandwagoner when it comes to soccer, though I’ve always supported Barca and in recent years they have been the focus of my support.

Its the great thing about the GAA, its about where you’re from, not whatever team everybody else supports when you’re 8.

I just think the EPL is full of wannabe celebrities and the commercialisation of it has gone beyond the point where a supporter can have a lasting connection to it. The Sky sports like hype of the premiership can’t mask the fact that the football is dull and the players generally duller. In other words its shite and I couldn’t be arsed with it.
I’m not from an English city like Liverpool, so I don’t see the point in supporting them. Barca is different, they feel like a club that should bve supported.

I support the Central Coast Mariners in Aus, because they’re my local club.
