The fact that they picked 7 United players to Liverpool’s four shows how bad a league it is now, how Liverpool are not cancelling ordinary, and are only going to win the league because: 1) every single other team in the league is shit,
2) they’re paying off officials and 3) they spent loads of money on agents fees

Yeah - totally agree. The standard back then was phenomenal - it was the zenith of club football. Nothing will ever be seen like it again.

There’s a lovely serenity about Keane of late, he’s become an oasis of wisdom and calm.
Having Jamie around definitely seems to have helped-it reminds me of that video where Mike Tyson teases a kitten with a little bit of pink wool, suddenly the humanity and gentleness of spirit was there for all to see.
It’s quite lovely.
