These interviews they have on Morning Ireland with a local luminary when there is a tragedy down the country. Often with the parish priest, this morning it was the local Fianna FĂĄil councillor. He was cautioned by Mary Wilson not to give any pertinent information so we got the usual tragedy down the country platitudes. The community is âin shockâ, itâs a âtight knit communityâ. The deceased were âa highly regarded coupleâ.
