To play when you’re out of the hurling you mean
There is too much lateral and backward passing in Gaelic football . Only allow forward Hand passing and a lot of problems sorted
sure rugby only allows backwards passing and Dinny says it’s better than gaelic
Limerick have that ruined sure because they tried harder than everyone else. That’s not allowed.
Women’s boxing is all we have and Katie is no spring chicken
Actually the horse racing as well, pound for pound kings at that
Womens boxing - because no one else plays it
Horse Racing - highly debately, national hunt for sure, but again hardly anyone else plays in.
Cork v Kerry and Cavan v Donegal were very exciting games last year in football. The problem for football is Dublin are not coming back to the pack.
Hurling is just the same games over and over again. I’ll cry if I ever have to switch on a telly again to watch Waterford play Clare again or cork play Waterford on a Saturday night or Dublin against any other county for that matter.
Exciting and high quality aren’t the same thing.
A few areas within those counties mate
I’ve read it and mostly agree, I don’t however think that rugby is a better spectacle
Football is very hard to watch for all the reasons Dinny points out, I couldn’t sit down and watch a game, even the AIF, I’ll watch Cork obviously but that’s it.
And I loved to play the game, best days of my life stuff but it’s a shocking spectacle
The AIF in football last year was ok but wasn’t a real contest . It will be very interesting to see what the crowds will be like next year when things get back to normal .
We’re quite good at hockey.
NPHET are already concerned about a rise in tan sports.
Yerra nah bai… Plenty fellas focus on the football once the evenings get long there isn’t much to it
Was exciting for 15 seconds it was absolutely turgid shit other than that
Dinny always likes stirring it up.
Looks like Dinny could be suffering a bit if he thinks monern rugbee is entertaining. He must have headed a fair few of those heavy soccer balls in his LOI days.
In fact Cork’s attempt at build up play with seconds remaining on the clock was extremely frustrating, they got lucky with the goal and it was a fabulous moment but says it all for the point that Dinny is making.
To be fair Kerry were very negative that day
Dinny hasn’t been right in the head since Paidi pucked it off him.
