Like what mate?

English Premier League

I’ve just referred

It is, in fact, a league with teams from 3 countries.

Also incorrect

The United Kingdom, Ireland and Italy. That’s 3 countries in any language.

I’ve just consulted the bible on the British Lions - Clem Thomas, Official History of the British Lions and I have to correct the record. I was a couple of weeks out on Brynmor Williams. He was indeed uncapped in 1977 and played in three of the tests. The uncapped Elgan Rees though came in for the 4th test in Auckland.

Rubgy must be pretty shit in Ireland if a town of 35k can beat the might of Munster of Leinster in the space of a week.

How do you explain the dominance in hurling of Kilkenny, the 21st most populous of the 32 counties on the island?

Its tradition.

Llanelli is one of world rugby hotbeds. They’ve beaten New Zealand and Australia (on three occasions).

It was a bit of a dump but a brilliant place to to to a game.

When’s the last time Llanelli won this?

Huh?

What teams aren’t from Britain in that?

Only 3 counties play hurling mate
