I’m calling it as I see it
the dissection and repeated quotation of some social media dollies live tweets from a rape trial are the stuff the internet message board was built for.
all sorts of fellas losing the run of themselves here. nobody can accept the other sides opinion, it brings out the best in fellas and is great to see. the passion on show is something to behold. normal lads who have trouble expressing themselves like @gman coming out of themselves. lovely to see this happening.
@rocko if the rubby boys are acquitted the jurors will surely be given a lifetime ban from thefreekick ?
Unless you hold that sort of mindset, you don’t belong here
The prosecution seem to be going after Olding harder than they went after Jackson
To get him to discredit Jackson I’m guessing.
What sort of mindset?
Let someone being wrong on the Internet pass.
Counsel suggests it’s “fanciful” he would start open-mouth kissing a woman who had just had his friend’s penis in her mouth.
“no it’s not,” says Olding.
unless the snippets from yesterday were lacking, but it does seem odd. It could also be the case that the rape allegation could have started with Oldings entry to the threesome hence focusing on that aspect of it. It does seem odd though. Jackson was the accused instigator and aggressor, yet was barely troubled yesterday and Olding had a blowie for 5 minutes and is getting cross examined all over everything.
they are rugby players, counsel should have known better than to question something like that.
They are entitled to an opinion, I might challenge it…then it’s time to move on. Otherwise one is in danger of being a complete bore who repeats himself endlessly…
I’ve missed too much of the evidence to be involved, sorry mate
Oooooffftt
I could imagine the type of people who would be annoyed at someone who is right.

Counsel says Olding knew on June 30th, when he was interviewed by police that McIlroy was claiming he had sexual contact with the woman but didn’t tell police.
Olding agrees
OUCH - also figured this out at lunch the next day…
Her evidence helps and doesnt help either of them in equal measure IMO. I think that is why this will be so difficult for the jury. The only sober person in the house
It does.
It also however, supports the victim’s account of events while it severely contradicts Jackson’s version of events.
The qc might be better arguing that any conspiracy might have been between mcillroy and Harrison … I’m sure some of the jury already suspect that this is where the problem started
