There were 147 posts on the Continuity Rugby World Cup thread after the administrators wisely closed down this thread for 24 hours when the soccer crowd were getting particularly hot and bothered. That puts the Rugby World Cup close to the 10,000 mark - not to mention numerous other threads on rugby over the past few weeks - the Rugby Rankings, Warren Gatland to name just two.

I like rugby but this really takes the biscuit . We were muck in World Cup but hell Englandās success will help Irish teams in the fucking beer cup .
This level of delusion is almost endearing. Gats has reached 2 World cup semi-finals, and never lost a knock-out game by more than 1 score. Schmidt has never even managed to keep a knock-out game competitive until halftime.
Iām not surprised though to read such a post from the rubby crew, even after Schmidts team embarrassing the nation twice in the last few weeks. Gatland has won as many grand slams with Wales as Ireland have managed in 120+ years of competition, and still there are some on here who canāt recognise his greatness.

Gats has only ever beaten six nations teams in 1/4 finals. Itās just luck of the draw. Joe won 3 six nations in 6 years in a makeshift team. Gats won 3 six nations in 10 seasons.
