Thereās some awful simpletons posting on this thread recently
Its terrific that the rugby once ever four years crowd are so involved in the tournament and getting swept away with World Cup hype and dreaming already of lifting the William Webb Ellis Cup, homecomings and ticker tape parades. It can only be good for the development of rugby in Ireland that this tournament is resonating to this extent outside of the rugby community.
The rugby crew here have every faith and confidence in Coach Schmidt and the team. One step at a time though, starting with South Africa in the quarter finals.
Have you every faith and confidence weāll get over SA? Thatās a big change of tune.
Itās amazing the difference one win can make to attitude and confidence.
This seriously what youāve been reduced to?
You didnāt have much confidence back in march. You predicted weād crash out at the 1/4 final stage if memory serves me correctly.
Iāve never seen the likes of it.

Iām on record here in predicting underdogs Ireland to spring an upset in the quarter final and beat the favourites South Africa.
Another massive u turn from glas in recent weeks.
I think most fans are relatively confident Ireland can win. Glas appears to have become totally hysterical on the matter. As I suggested in March Ireland didnāt really care about the six nations. Fellas didnāt listen and were looking for the team to be rebuilt along with the coach to be sacked. Iāve faith in Joe to deliver.

I hate to say this mate but youāre having the piss taken out of you (metaphorically speaking, obviously) and donāt realise it

I couldnāt believe the amount of unread posts when i logged in there. Imagine my disappointment when I could only read half of them due to the ignore button
for someone new to the site @ChairmanDan is a very good poster I have to say, I agree with a lot of what he says
Itās great - I have HBV and Tassotti on ignore for months now - the site is fantastic without having to read their spam every day.
You havenāt missed that much. Nearly everyone is feeling good about the Ireland team. The rugby crew are more guarded, not looking past South Africa in the quarter final.
The rugby once every four year crew are like kids on Christmas morning. Theyāve completely lost the run of themselves with the excitement of it all. Talking about who will be the likely opposition for Ireland in the final and victory homecomings. Most of them are Limerick GAA types so theyād be fairly excitable anyway. Youād think they might be a bit more guarded after what happened to the Limerick hurlers this summer, but not a bit of it.
I think the rugby crew are similar to limerick fans the morning of the all Ireland semi final last year. Quietly confident.
I predict Ireland will get to the semi finals this time. We just might not have the players to get over it after the SA game. I maintain it is Wales in a semi all going well?
Need a bit of luck along the way.
God bless Ireland and the North of Ireland.
Isnāt over that pendulum summit event? Which is a load of bollocks if you ask me but the big companies love it
