It will be a spicy one today, the Japan Russia game. Tensions have simmered between these two nations since the Japanese routed the Russians in the 1905 Russo Japanese war and this will be the first chance since then for the Russians to put one over on the Japanese in a major sporting event.
Think English v Argentina only there were far more people killed in the Russo Japanese War.

Conway doesnât worry me in defence. Very good under high ball and never shirks a tackle. Dunno why we hadnât played him 15 for province ahead of Haley as would start him there and also at 15 ahead of Larmour had he played there for the season.
The other two are serious concerns in defense. Stockdale has to be dense. His positioning and reads are so poor there is no other explanation. Larmour has ability to beat his man in kick returning bit has to catch it first. His positioning against the Argies at 15 was terrible too.
Be a nervy first 20, hopefully hit their groove

Hes a better full back than haley for Munster but hes a much better winger than full back these days. I dont rate Larmour all that much tbh
