What I found more amusing about Gatty was how the rugby followers in Ireland stuck loyally by the irfu who fucked him over royally, and convinced themselves he wasnât a good manager, despite pissing all over Ireland almost anytime he came up against them

He lost his job because in 2001 the Irish contingent went on the Lions tour and saw a more professional environment from the English players and coaches.
He learned lessons and came back a better coach.

I think Gatland doesnât become the manager he is without getting removed from Ireland and Ireland donât become the team they did if he stayed.
He wasnât giving stringer or rog much of a chance who were going well for Munster.
