The facts of his performance are irrelevant. I absolutely donāt think players and managers should have free reign to review the referees performance at a Press conference after a game ā¦and he got a softer ban that he could have because of his involvement with the national team
The IRFU are scrambling non stop trying to build a panel of referees from grass roots up. They need to support the ones they have as a starting point
There is a formal route connacht could have provided their feedback rather than essentially calling him a cheat live after the game

I donāt think any side comes out of it well. IRFU look bad for making sue Hansen was available for the Six Nations, Busby lost some goodwill with the dramatics yesterday which is probably fueled by a PR person before a book release/article and Hansen is only naturally gonna be hated by refs after the whole thing.
Agree with the two posts above. It may be that Busby had other stuff said. I didnāt see the Connacht game in question but the Irish rugby fraternity in general are really bad for whining about refereeing decisions, and in general get the rub of them anyway. Sure they had Nigel Owens in the bag for a decade.
Busby has been foolish here. Should have kept quiet. Connacht were utterly stupid over that whole thing. Should have kept quiet too, and gone through the usual channels.
I whine about referees far too much, and Iām trying not to these days, especially as it is frankly impossible. You need to be wired up wrong to be a referee, and you need to be lucky as fuck to get away with a decent performance. The best referees are really really good. The lady referee is the best rugby referee I have ever seen. She is remarkable.
I reckon Iād have got on just fine in Australia, but a few too many things that can kill you out there for my liking. Stayed in Brisbane back in the day, good place. Theyāll do a good job on the Olympics. Hope the kids are enjoying the trip. Tis a long way from Dunamase castle.
